Minnesota Memories
Two weeks into being in Montana, I have been reflecting back on the amazing memories I made in my 3 years in Minnesota.

Hi everyone! We are officially living in Montana for the next several months. The past couple months have been hectic getting everything packed, planning, and still enjoying the last few months we had in Minneapolis. It was also full of so many emotions leaving the Midwest for awhile as it has always been my home. I will be further away from my family, but I will be visiting them and the Midwest often :) I wanted to write about what Minnesota has meant to me over these past three years!

On August 1, 2018, I moved up to Minnesota to an apartment all to myself. I had some friends here and on of my brother lives in the area as well, but it was my first time living alone. I feel in the two years living in the apartment, I grew so much and became a lot more independent. It was time for me to focus on myself and do what made me happy. I was happy to be very busy with work and studying during my time at my apartment because it gave me things to do! (And I found lots of fun things to make in the Airfryer :D)
After about a year of living in my apartment, I met Vince. Minnesota gave me the love of my life and my future husband. This will be something I am forever grateful for. We were friends for about 6 months before we started dating, but from the moment we met we instantly connected and were inseparable after we started dating.

These next two years were so much exploring Minnesota with Vince. We moved to Minneapolis for the past year to get more of the downtown experience. Living where we lived was something I am so happy we did. Although it was more expensive than my original apartment, I don’t regret it at all. Being somewhere with incredible views of US Bank stadium and the skyline. Having this during many months of Covid and not going many places, having these views made it a lot better.

As I mentioned, having family so close was also so great. Being alone in my first apartment, I was able to spend a lot of time with my brother and I am really blessed that he was there for me. Also, I was able to share my apartments with my parents. My mom and dad would come stay with me for weekends at my original apartment and enjoyed our amazing views at our last apartment with us as well. I am so thankful for my family!
Looking back, I am so happy I took the jump to moving to Minnesota by myself. I learned so much and finding Vince is just so special. I both tear up and smile all at the same time thinking back to the amazing memories that I made during my three years in Minneapolis. It isn’t a goodbye, it's a see you later :)
